Over the years, Telinta has custom developed Auto-Provisioning profiles to streamline the provisioning of IP phones. Since IP phone devices from various manufacturers around the world can vary greatly, provisioning can be a challenge if manual configuration is required.
To complement our Auto-Provisioning profiles, Telinta has introduced its new Auto-Provisioning Helper Tool to simplify provisioning of IP phones for which have not been populated with a provisioning string. This brandable white label tool is completely web-based and includes features such as click-by-click instructions for all major device models, one-click automatic provisioning for Cisco devices, and other features which can be used by Telinta customers, their resellers and end users.
Telinta’s Auto-Provisioning capability, a standard part of our TeliCoreTM softswitch platform, is a powerful cloud-based tool enabling VoIP service providers to quickly automate deployments for any number of IP phones. Telinta customers can easily create their inventory of IP phones using Telinta’s web-based interface. When the phones are connected to an IP network at the customer premise, they will automatically download a complete configuration profile from Telinta’s softswitch platform.
Telinta’s Auto-Provisioning capability is unique since it enables our customers to provision IP phones using the same cloud-based platform they use to perform other key business processes such as routing calls, billing and customer management.
With our hosted softswitch platform, Telinta customers can also activate new features on IP phones, perform remote reboots, update IP phone software and more.
